Op de foto hieronder de Rama VIII brug die op 20 september 2002 officieel werd geopend in Bangkok
en vernoemd is naar de achtste koning van de Chakri dynasty, Koning Ananda Mahidol.
De brug overspant de Chao Praya (Menam) rivier en heeft een lengte van 2,45 km inclusief de overspanning.
Sinds de brug gebouwd is, is de Rama VIII brug een architectonische toeristenattractie geworden en
staat de afbeeling op de achterkant van het 20 bahtbiljet.
